The Buzz around Beautycounter

The last few months have been filled with some really exciting business news and buzz surrounding Beautycounter which continues to reaffirm that the clean beauty market is not only here to stay, but a booming business opportunity not to be ignored. I have previously shared that what sets Beautycounter apart from other MLMs and beauty companies is the fierce mission for advocacy in the industry, and I think 2018 is going to be a huge year for this as more people are energized and inspired to want to see real change across a myriad of social issues confronting us. With little regulation in this country by comparison to European standards regarding safety and transparency in the beauty industry, there is a real call for action. Beautycounter has emerged from a grass-roots start up operation, however, into a powerhouse within the clean beauty market by continuing to recruit some truly influential innovators and creative leaders from other parts of the industry and then producing high performing, exceptional skincare and makeup that caters to the needs of the entire family.


Over the few months leading into this holiday season, there were a ton of features and lists that included our products as must-haves for gifting and it seemed like almost every week a new article that included some mention of the company or products in beauty and style media outlets. Spurred by an entire re-vamp of holiday gift sets, new product launches of much anticipated items, and some exceptional marketing lead to record sales and entire line sell-outs for some of the new launches in just a matter of hours.


The newest press release to really demonstrate the magnitude of the burgeoning success and growth was the announcement that Beautycounter recently raised $65 million in new funding to continue expansion and innovation. Published through outlets like Bloomberg Business and BoF suggest that the strategic partnerships formed and the financial growth re-emphasize why the clean beauty market will be such a force to be reckoned with in coming years.

There are a ton of great features on various fan favorite products throughout the industry, but here are a couple of great ones from InStyle and PopSugar that came out recently. It is also exciting to see some of the names of Hollywood’s elite, who have the financial means and access to any product on the market make the conscious choice to use Beautycounter (Connie Britton, Olivia Wilde, Many Moore, Tiffani Thiessen, and Melissa McCarthy.. just to name drop a few). As seen last night on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, the ever stunning and natural beauty Connie Britton was shining in Beautycounter makeup complements of our ever talented Artistic Director Christy Coleman.
